RE: green egg transition to Blackstone. You got rid of your green egg? (Personally I like the American made SNS Kamado.) Why not both? You can't do pancakes on a grill (unless you have a plancha) and can't smoke a whole turkey on a Blackstone.
I came here to say this — I run a pk for fast charcoal and offset, a green egg for briskets and butts and a griddle for good measure. Different tools for different things.
We sold the egg in LA when we moved back to NC. I do currently have a Traeger + Blackstone. I’m just lazy or impatient and prefer the griddle. My brother in law uses the traeger more than I do but love that at least someone is putting it to good use…
Yeah -- the egg is my least used outdoor cooking appliance. It just comes out when I need something to snuggle a brisket at 225 for 18 hours. Most of the cooking happens on the PK here.
Your disclaimer is exceptionally humorless - when your profiled person is a financial planner by career; granted, it's not your opinion.....
I know…definitely cringy but I’d rather err on the side of being careful with disclaimers etc
