Win Son and Win Son Bakery (across the street) in Brooklyn are both amazing spots.

Sharing HK/Vietnam recommendations from Brad C for the rest of the group's visibility:

Hey Matt. Great recommendations. I'm all in on that podcast (as I live in LA) and the astrology app.

I lived in Hong Kong for a year or so and loved this little speakeasy called Feathered Boa. Check it out. (links at the btm)

Also, just back from a few weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia over the holidays, my partner's company is HCMC based, definitely checkout Book Alley, eat and take a cooking lesson at Hoa Tuc Saigon Restaurant, get a drink(s) at a hidden alley bar called Lost: Drink & Chill , drinks at the rooftop of the Rex Hotel and dinner at Vietnam House - all in District 1, in fact you will probably want to stay in District 1 (although a few nights at the Mia Hotel in District 2 would be fun just not central to the vibe of the city).

Our highlight -- a quick 2day/ 3night trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia for Angkor Wat temples tours and great inexpensive boutique hotels and restaurants as that region is just starting to open up. Stay at the Treeline Hotel in Siem Reap. And then few days at a small Vietnamese fishing island called Phu Quoc in the Sea of Thailand - also an inexpensive flight and resort hotel experience .. and super cool pepper farm tour – it has Thailand/Hawaii vibes.
