Intellectual Property. Companies are getting more ambitious and creative with how they leverage and market their IP. In case you haven’t seen the countless ads and collaborations the past few months, the Barbie movie dropped this past weekend.
The Boys. The company I work for, Call of Duty, also dropped a cross-promotion collaboration with the popular Amazon Prime series, The Boys (93% on rotten tomatoes). Now, COD players can drop-in as their favorite “supes”.
90’s Rappers. However, my favorite collaboration in the past few weeks involves National Public Radio. NPR created a YouTube Series, “Tiny Desk” where NPR host Bob Boilen records intimate video performances from popular musicians live from his desk. It first caught my eye when the Fred again collab went viral but it cemented my fandom when they brought in the rapper of Shake Ya Azz fame, Juvenile*. I don’t know why but something about an NPR YouTube video involving explicit rap lyrics from the 90s just works…5M views speaks for itself.

Without further ado….
She came highly recommended by Alexa Hamelin, a coworker and a friend that I profiled several weeks back.

FP Movement, created by Free People, for both performance and athleisure wear! Yes I am biased because I work for the company, however I promise we have the cutest assortment for the girls that want something a little more fun than just black leggings and sports bras.
Episode #569 on The Skinny Confidential is one of my favorite Podcast interviews to date. The interview is with Danna Omari, a renowned facialist in NYC, who was diagnosed with cancer and completely changed her diet and lifestyle to heal herself. She is queen of the gua sha and has an incredible skincare regimen using Seabuckthorn Oil that is addicting to watch on her Instagram (@noyskincare). If you struggle with any skin issues (acne, eczema) she is a must follow.
My fiance and I have recently gotten really into budgeting and are loving the Copilot app! It takes a minute to get accustomed to tracking your spending correctly, but already loving the ease of use and it keeps our spending in check :). You can also add in your investment accounts to get a full picture of your financial health. You can use the referral code "HDUXCF" and get two months free!
I used to roll my eyes at the thought of this practice. I recently completed the 75 Hard program and made sure to start each morning with a short journaling session. The 75 days helped me to turn this into one of the greatest habits I have ever formed. Getting thoughts down on paper releases any anxiety and helps you feel fully set up for your day.
Food & Drink
In the past year I've greatly reduced my drinking habits, and have been alcohol free for a few months now! I realized the toll it was taking on both my physical and mental health and have felt like a million bucks since cutting back. Parch creates incredible canned mocktails that honestly taste just like a spicy marg! Also they are delicious to use as a mixer with your own tequila if you're not ready to cut back yet.
I've hit the age where friends are having baby's left and right. I recently discovered the diaper cake from Honest Co. and I am obsessed - the new moms love as well! Also love that Honest Co. is a baby company that focuses on natural/clean products.
For all things holistic health and wellness check out my Instagram account @wellbywelton! I am a certified Holistic Health Coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and just recently started taking clients. I have my own experience from years of healing eczema naturally - if you or anyone you know need guidance in natural healing (specifically for skin concerns) or simply making better lifestyle choices, I'm your girl!
Thank You, Gaines!
