Why William?
I know William through my former roommates, Andrew and Forrest, who are close with William from growing up together in Dallas. Unfortunately, I think they are all Cowboys fans. However, William is a very sharp guy and has been making moves in the startup CPG space.

William’s Recommendations
Written in his own words…
Content
They dive deep into the stories of iconic businesses with compelling story telling and actionable insights.
Product
Their Franzia-esque boxes of cold brew on tap make for an easy and delicious morning routine. No slapping the bag required.
Digital Tools
Loom lets you record and share screen recordings very easily. We use Loom religiously at Magic Mind -- you can seriously replace half of meetings with asynchronous loom back and forths. Calls to "walk you through something" should go the way of the fax machine, and Loom can help do that.
Well-Being
Morning walks
I try to get sunlight and movement into the first part of my day with a morning walk. Whenever I'm feeling lazy, I just look at my dog who's amped up for the best part of his day, and it gives me the spark I need to get going.
Watch
I'm not embarrassed to say that Love Island is the most entertaining thing on television. Watch the UK version and thank me later.
Professional
Develop a skill I call "90 day trailing average emotions"
In all jobs - but especially in entrepreneurship - there are the highest of highs ("we just crossed $X million in revenue!!") and the lowest of lows ("we're going out of business for sure") that can happen even within the same day. You cannot let yourself become wedded to the inevitable fluctuations of your bank account or growth graph. I make a conscious effort to let the good and the bad trickle in through a heavy dose of emotional distance from the business, and I only let the net results of 3+ months inform my mood.
