One of the many reasons I enjoyed living in LA was that I never felt social fomo. My wife and I knew so few people, we never felt left out. I did, however, feel fomo with crypto, NFTs, and tech stocks.
Right Click, Save. For those of you who know me, this may not surprise you, but I am the proud owner of a Bojangles NFT. While now worth zero dollars, it originally cost me $50 + $100 in gas fees, with the utility being randomly selected to receive free chicken supremes for a year. Read to the bottom to see my NFT and to see if I won.
FOMO. While my covid-era fomo burned me with my top-ticking of Peleton stock and jpegs, I haven’t lost any money with AI (yet) and I’ve been very impressed by playing around with ChatGPT. I’ve mainly used it to brainstorm creative ideas at work and with Rambull.
Two past profilees and good friends of the program, Adam Thornhill and William Nutt, are capitalizing on the opportunity with AI. If these two guys, who I hold in high regard for their business sense and creativity, are all-in, you know I’m feeling the fomo. Therefore, I wanted to highlight their new projects:
From William — The Streamline: AI × Automation × Productivity
Subscribe to begin your "AI Jumpstart" and access a growing assortment of resources for streamlining your work and life.
From Adam — Transform your company with ChatGPT
Use this 4-step framework to accelerate ChatGPT adoption within your company and boost your team’s efficiency by 10-20%.
Did someone say, $800K? 🧐
Without further ado….
Why Will?
On the heels of William Hicks, who was profiled a few weeks back, I was introduced to Will through the Rafkin brothers. Similar to William, Will is a CPG entrepreneur and Harvard grad. He seems like a very sharp and interesting guy - you don’t get to 35K followers on Linkedin without being one….

Self-Description
I'm obsessed with business and converting cool ideas into cool, tangible products. Big health and wellness guy too - I love to nerd out on nutrition, sleep, and exercise. From New Jersey, have lived in Boston for the last ten years, moving to Miami shortly!
Will’s Recommendations
Written in his own words…
Product
I frickin' love Crocs and I don't care who knows it. I have a pair of black-and-grey camo Crocs that I rock around my apartment, as well as out and about. I also love the company and their overall strategy. So genius.
Content
Book: "How to Get Rich" by Felix Dennis
This is my favorite book of all time. Felix is founder Maxim Magazine and is an absolutely hilarious writer. He shares tons of stories and insights in a remarkably and refreshingly honest way. It's infinitely better than any of the get-rich-quick books out there because he isn't hawking some random course - he's just sharing his journey because he loves entrepreneurship.
Digital Product
Big fan of the Hey email service. They have a feature where you can turn all the newsletters you subscribe to into one easy-to-read feed and it's been a game changer for me. I use Gmail for all my primary email purposes and Hey ONLY for newsletters. Highly recommend.
Well-Being
I've been cold plunging lately, which sounds lame/hardo and kind of is...but I don't care. You just feel so damn good afterwards. I'm contemplating getting one of the expensive tubs at some point in the near future.
Watch
Black Mirror is so awesome and unique. It's dystopian, which can be a bummer, but it really makes you think deeply about technological advances and all of their potential wide-reaching implications. New episodes just dropped and I binged all of them in a day.
Plug
Two shameless plugs:
My company - IQBAR® plant protein bars, IQMIX® hydration sticks, and IQJOE® instant coffees are packed with functional "brain + body" compounds to help you win your day! CHECK US OUT AT IQBAR.COM.
My LinkedIn musings - I put out daily posts on entrepreneurship, consumer goods, and a variety of random topics. Throw me a follow at https://www.linkedin.com/in/will-nitze/

Thank You, Will!
My Bojangles NFT. No, I did not win free chicken Supremes. But I did win a valuable lesson about owning digital art. Feel free to right click, save.
PS - know of a good dinner recommendation in East London? I have to be there for a work trip and I’d like to find a good spot for a team dinner (hip fun atmosphere being the priority)
Thanks for the shoutout Rob! Great post as always
Good take!
I know of an Amsterdam-based company that is using NFT's to help brands build loyalty programmes - https://authic.io/ - let me know I can help you get in touch with them
