Fresh off the success of my two Halloween dinosaurs, I’m feeling pretty cocky about my yard design choices.

1. Young Woman and the Sea
Young Woman and the Sea, Your next family movie night. Based on the true story of a young girl in the 1920's who dreamed of defying gender norms to become the first woman in the world to swim the English Channel. Heartfelt, feel-good movie that our whole families enjoyed. As my 7-year-old said at the end of the movie, "I'm crying but I'm happy - what does that mean?"
2. Mirth
We adore these Houston sisters who design the most comfortable, artisan-made textiles. They create socially-conscious resort wear styles that can handle the South Texas heat. In a world of fast fashion, we've found this look has stood the test of time!

5. Mississippi Pot Roast - Salt and Lavender
This is a fall staple in our houses! It's fall-apart tender and with just 5 ingredients in the crock-pot, your whole house will smell divine. Serve over egg noodles and a veggie/salad and dinner is done!
6. Marco Polo
The video chat app that you didn't know you needed. If you can handle facetiming, this is even better. Reconnect with friends or family by sending video recordings that they can watch as they please. Respond with text, photos or video when it's convenient for you and keep those long conversations going. Think helping a girlfriend states away redecorate her living room... or sharing funny stories when you finally have a second to slow down. We are two moms with a creative itch who just weren't finding the fun and colorful stacks of bracelets we were looking for - so we started beading our own. We started designing jewelry in Houston with globally inspired, suitcase-ready bracelets. Six years later we are still seeking unique ways to elevate our everyday outfits selling the designs we want to be wearing.
