I am a sucker for good life hacks. My good friend Sean S. sent me this post from Tim Ferris with 30 life hacks at age 30, that he wish he knew at age 20.
Here are my 3 favorite ones:
Normalize “I don’t know anything about that” as a successful answer
You don’t have to finish a movie or a book if it stinks
A person’s favorite sound is their own name and 2nd favorite might be their pet or loved one’s name. If you hear one mentioned, write it down. Later ask *by name* about them, it will stand out.
The same Sean from above taught me a favorite work hack to CYA (cover your arse). Add explicit deadlines for feedback when you need to give a group visibility or a chance to weigh in. “If I don’t receive feedback I plan to send at 12PM ET Friday” works much better than “before I send, does the group have feedback?”
Without further ado….
Jordan came highly recommended from Ali B. I’ve enjoyed getting to profile several CPG leaders who have impressive products.

Trying to get better every day. Husband, father, entrepreneur, consumer product enthusiast, bourbon hunter, and always looking for a good excuse to buy land in Montana.
Written in his own words…
There's a lot, but two that stick out:
Starting each morning with electrolytes and protein makes a world of difference with energy levels and cravings throughout the day. I have a Sap's every morning and have more or less kicked my caffeine habit.
Every night I take 3 minutes to write down 3 things from the day (Lessons learned, highlight of the day, something you are grateful for). It changes your mentality going to bed which influences how you feel when you wake up. Also a very cool way to look back on time and see the challenges and experiences you went through in the past.
I'm late to the game here, but I got a Whoop recently and have really been enjoying it. It helps me better understand how to take care of myself and pushes me to take care of myself and provides accountability. I would recommend to anyone trying to build better habits and live healthier.
Just crushed The Bear season 2. Way better than season 1 and might have entered my top 10 seasons of TV.
Food & Drink
I am loving all things Michter's (Distillery) right now. The day we found out my wife was pregnant with our son, we were at the distillery and I bought a bottle of Barrel Strength Rye. It was my celebratory bottle when he was born. I'd put that bottle up against almost any high end bottle right now.

P.S. MacGreagor’s recommendation last week for Feiuye shoes broke the record for highest click rate. My wife and I both got a pair 👟
