With two young kids, we are locked into the baby gear consumer vortex.
My wife has a ‘hack’ for those in a similar spot, whether you are trying to be environmentally conscious by buying used gear and/or trying to save money.
Facebook marketplace is a great place to find baby gear. But the real hack is to set your location outside of a major city. You can find much better prices with less competition. Next time you are taking a roadtrip, consider searching the Facebook marketplace for stops along your route.

She is a great recipe creator on Instagram. All the ingredients and instructions are shown in her Reels. She jazzes up the basics and doesn’t use too many ingredients.
Brand
I am kind of obsessed with everything Houses & Parties, a high end hosting online retailer, and not just for their products. Before I started in corporate marketing I was a Brand Strategist at an ad agency, and Houses & Parties absolutely nails their branding. Their tone of voice, imagery, products, events, social media, etc. are so on point and a perfect mix of quirky and beautiful. They should be a branding case study. If you like cool home and hosting stuff or if you are a fan of awesome branding, check them out.

Well-Being
My husband and I have the same babysitter come three Wednesdays a month at the same time. It’s wonderful because it’s consistent and a win-win for all. We use the time to go on dates, run errands, or even hang out with friends separately. Time away is important on so many levels.

Disclaimer! NSFW! Not safe for kids! This is not quality TV, but it’s entertaining. Naked Attraction on Max is the most absurd and entertaining show out there. This was discovered on a girl’s weekend, and we could not stop laughing. It is a British dating show which involves a clothed person seeing potential suitors completely nude, with faces hidden, before deciding which one to go on a date with. It’s wild and would be canceled so fast if made in America.

Currently listening to Blue Ocean Strategy which is about creating new marketspace with limited competition. This has been helpful with the launch of my new startup.

A Carter Kustera Portrait of my oldest son is my favorite gift I have ever received. If my house is on fire it’s the first thing I am grabbing. He paints a colorful silhouette based off of a picture you send him, and you add a quote or meaningful saying. He even does dogs, and they are very reasonably priced.

I cannot live without Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater. My oldest son is a savage and my husband is very outdoorsy. This removes spaghetti stains, grass stains, hunting stains, oil stains, you name it. It’s amazing.
