I’ve gotten to know Alaina after recently reconnecting with her husband, Crawford, who was a friend from middle school. Alaina and Crawford met when they were both FX traders in London. Apparently “Industry” on HBO was not that far off, the high stress at least!

Product
I struggle to wake up when it's dark and my iPhone alarm is jarring. This light gradually wakes me up naturally so I don't need an alarm anymore. Plus it looks chic on my bedside table - and I can carry it around our bedroom without waking up my husband.
Digital Tool
Aka 'Chatty' to my husband and I — has quickly become a go-to for helping me rephrase emails, research my son's ailments, and almost anything else I usually ask Google for. It even helped me re-word some of my recommendations for this newsletter!
Habit
Finding little things, like enjoying vanilla creamer in my coffee each morning, that make me happy. I am trying to remember that 'self-care' does not mean I have to go to pilates every morning at 5:30am.
TV Show
Currently watching Wednesday on Netflix. I love it.
Pizza
If anyone finds themselves in my hometown of Manhasset, NY on Long Island, go to Gino's Pizzeria. Get 1 plain and 1 pepperoni slice. IT'S THE BEST.
Music
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
It's a special city and this festival is the perfect mix of it's culture, unbeatable food and, of course, good music. I'll be there again this April!
Travel
When I moved abroad in 2017, I started a Google doc listing every city I've traveled to, where I stayed, what I did and ate. It's hard to choose but Mallorca (Spain) will always hold a special place in my heart. Must-try lunch spots: Sa Foradada & Ca's Patro March. Bens D'Avall for dinner. Google them, the photos say it all!

Shuffle Suggested Photos
Customize your Iphone background to shuffle your suggested photos. This is one of my favorite things! I get the importance of reducing screen time, but at least now I get to see sweet, throwback photos of my son throughout the day!
