What makes Addy interesting
She came highly recommended to get her recommendations…recommended for recommendations…nice (PS if you have people you think I should talk to, let me know!)
She’s started her own personal training business and if you are looking for the inspiration to get in shape, consider this to be it! The Dad Bod energy is pulling me in….help me Addy!
I pulled this off her website - “A genuine soul. Addy radiates a positive energy that is contagious, and when you're around her, your mood is instantly elevated.” Woah…
Lastly, I think this is her life / business motto “ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE”…so lose the ‘tude dude
Written in her own words…

Great Wine Under $30
Having several bottles of great wine under $30 at the house is a necessity. Let’s be honest, its Wednesday. You need a glass of wine tonight but there’s no special occasion to necessitate dusting off the bottle you got as a Christmas gift. While its tempting to uncork the Caymus, you also don’t want to be drinking box wine.
Also, what about if you get invited over to someone’s house. You can’t show up empty handed. You need a bottle that is “thoughtful” but not one that says “look how arrogant I am with my $100 bottle of wine”. Note, if you come to my house with a $100 bottle of wine you are welcome to be as arrogant as you want.
Thanks to also those that recommended wine! Their names in parenthesis and I added in any verbatim supporting detail they provided. Without further ado…
Red
Banfi Bell'agio Chianti Wicker (Margaret)
Josh Cabernet Sauvigon (Shira)
The Dreaming Tree Cabernet Sauvignon (Carrie)
Meiomi Pinot Noir (Shelley)
Decoy Pinot (Harris)
Juggernaut (Stuart & Collins)
Saldo, Red Blend, PWC (Collins)
2016 Pablo Conterno Barbera D’Alba Ginestra (Weston)
Barberas which are red Table wines from the piedmont region of Italy are a great value
Bonanza Cabernet (Richard)
From the same winemakers as Caymus. Very good value in my opinion and inexpensive enough for weeknight drinking. Typically $24.99 at my local store but on sale for $21.99 a week ago.
Rose
La Vieille Ferme Rose (Margaret)
Swimbad Rose (Becca)
It rose in a PLASTIC bottle. But since it's from the winestore it is still classy. When you are carrying a baby, dog leash, purse, keys and coffee in one hand you need a plastic bottle. Also great for pool side.
Pascal Joivet Sancerre (Maggie)
Like a lot of good french whites, Sancerres can get expensive. This one is reasonable and a crowd-pleaser
Dry, minerally, and steely
White
Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc 2021 (Ward)
“perfect for warmer summer days”
Prejuges Chardonnay (Anna)
“So good dont let the price fool you!”
Butternut Chardonnay (Kelly)
“Cheap bottle but the best if you are into buttery yet non-oaky Chardonnay. The worst if buttery Chardonnay is not your style.”
Avaline (Maggie)
Not typically a fan of "celebrity" backed or founded products (minus Mr. Clooney's tequila), but Cameron Diaz left Hollywood and did a nice job with Avaline
An easy-drinking white that is now easier to find in the last few months at Whole Foods etc.
Always have some in the wine fridge ready if I want to drink it myself after a long day or if a group comes over
Wolffer Estate Table Wine Rose (Maggie)
Evokes immediate Hamptons vibes. Definitely more East Hampton than Montauk's finest establishment (the Sloppy Tuna)
Highly recommend a trip out to the Wolffer estate vineyard in Sagaponack
It's harder to find in stores outside the east coast, but can buy it from their website and have it shipped nationwide. (My case just arrived a few weeks ago)
